Lopa, inspired by her parents and her own childhood dream of working in medicine, chose physical therapy for its positive and interactive environment in helping others. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy in India and then her Master's in Neuromuscular Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh, specializing in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Parkinson’s Disease treatment. In her professional role, Lopa focuses on treating various conditions including chronic pain, joint replacements, and neurological disorders, with a special interest in vertigo and balance issues. She values active listening to strengthen the therapist-patient bond. Outside work, she enjoys family time, working out, and exploring different cultures and cuisines. She is multilingual, speaking English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati.

Lavanya Kailas received her Bachelor in Physiotherapy from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India and a Masters in Kinesiology, specializing in Exercise and Sports Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Before joining BreakThrough, she was a physical therapist at Apex PT and Postural Restoration Center in North Carolina, where she gained experience in treating patients using Postural Restoration treatment techniques. This treatment technique has helped her to approach musculoskeletal conditions with a neuro-biomechanics perspective and provide better outcomes for the patient. She is experienced in treating patients with chronic pain conditions, postural issues, repetitive stress injuries, low back pain, neck pain, knee pain, and post-injury rehabilitation to name a few. She is passionate about working with dancers and runners due to her background as a performing artiste and relevant professional experience. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pursuing Indian classical arts (Carnatic vocal and Bharatanatyam dance form).

Dana, drawn to rehabilitation and helping others from a young age, found her calling in physical therapy. She graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor’s in Biological Science, focusing on Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. Before graduate school, she gained experience as an outpatient clinic aide and volunteered at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Palo Alto. Dana earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mount Saint Mary’s College. Her approach to treatment combines manual therapy, strengthening, therapeutic exercise, and patient education, aiming to help patients understand their impairments and improve their quality of life. Dana has treated a variety of conditions, including overuse injuries, balance deficits, and postural dysfunction, and in 2019, she was promoted to Director of Rehabilitation at BreakThrough. Outside her professional life, Dana enjoys diverse activities like hiking, tennis, paddle-boarding, playing the piano, cooking, watching movies, and playing board games. She loves animals and has raised several pets. In her role, she focuses on personal and professional growth for her team, ensuring exceptional patient care and fostering a collaborative approach.

Ruchira’s interest in physical therapy was sparked by witnessing the rehabilitation of a neighborhood child with Cerebral Palsy. This experience led her to pursue and complete a Bachelor in Physiotherapy from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India. After initially working as an outpatient provider and interning with a manual therapist from Australia, Ruchira moved to the United States to earn her Masters in Health Sciences with an emphasis on Orthopedics from the University of Indianapolis. She gained significant experience at a skilled nursing facility in Michigan, aiding individuals with balance disorders. Before joining BreakThrough, she practiced in an outpatient orthopedic setting in Greenfield, Indiana, which further enhanced her skills in manual therapy and understanding of movement impairment patterns. Ruchira has consistently updated her skills with continued education in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Movement System Impairment, Cervico-thoracic dysfunction, Muscle Energy Techniques for rib dysfunction, and Maitland techniques for joint mobilization. Her approach focuses on compassionate care, aiming to exceed patient expectations and tailor treatments to individual needs. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi. Outside of work, Ruchira enjoys biking, hiking, painting, cake decorating, and writing blogs and short stories.

MING LUO, PT, DPT

Ming completed his undergraduate degree in Jilin University in China, laying the foundation for his Rehabilitation-related expertise which included Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech. To further advance his knowledge, he went to Washington University in St. Louis, Program in Physical Therapy. During the three years of training, he gained additional exposure to patients of different diagnoses, complexity and movement statuses. He was also the recipient of Robert J. and Betty L. Hickok Scholarship for his outstanding performance in professionalism during his clinical experiences. His goal is to address both physical and psychosocial factors in patients to help them get back on track of pursuit. During his free time, he enjoys going to the gym/swimming and traveling with friends. He's also a big fan of anime so definitely talk to him if you are interested as well. Lastly, he would like to share his favorite quote from Steve Jobs: "STAY HUNGRY, STAY FOOLISH."

Debi earned her degree in Sociology and Social Welfare from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Before attending college she grew up in Minneapolis and moved to the Bay Area in 1998, and most likely will never leave. Her experience working in student services, retail management, and customer service has led her to BreakThrough with the following mission: to help clients feel welcome, served and satisfied with their experience along their journey to health and wellness. Debi enjoys connecting people from all backgrounds and looks forward to meeting you! Debi’s hobbies include attending sports events, music, gardening, fitness, dancing, and everything Green Bay Packers. She recently sent her oldest child to college but still shares her home with her teenage daughter, two cats Olive and Ethel, and her three chickens. She loves to throw parties to connect with family and friends, old and new, and make sure everyone gets their dancing on.

Kelly was born and raised In San Jose, CA and has played competitive soccer throughout her life. She attended Chico State studying Kinesiology and played for their Collegiate Team. Needless to say, Injuries are no stranger to her. Having gone through the process of rehabilitation and recovery, (quite a few times), she believes her own experiences enable her to be able to communicate transparently and provide people the care they deserve through connectivity. During her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family and close friends. She loves traveling around the world, cooking recipes from diverse backgrounds, taking naps, and attempting crafting projects.

Lee has been practicing outpatient orthopedic physical therapy since 1998. With a bachelor's degree in exercise and movement science and a minor in biology from the University of Oregon, he furthered his expertise by obtaining a physical therapy degree from Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven in the Netherlands. Lee is dedicated to patient care, utilizing a comprehensive approach that includes education, manual therapy, and functional training. He is experienced in treating a range of orthopedic conditions, from sports injuries to chronic pain, and stays current with medical advancements through collaboration with local surgeons. In 2007, Lee's contributions to the field were recognized when he presented at the American Physical Therapy Association Conference in Denver. As President and CEO, he focuses on developing programs and careers at BreakThrough, aiming to improve patient experiences and set new standards in physical therapy. Outside work, Lee enjoys family time, gym workouts, and various sports activities. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Dutch.

Debbie joined the BreakThrough Accounts and Administration Department after years of extensive experience in medical billing, account reconciliation, collections and much more. While insurance companies continually find ways to try and confuse both provider and patient, Debbie is passionate about ensuring everything balances out. She then enjoys working with our amazing patients and clients with open, clear, and concise communication for efficient account resolution. Debbie enjoys the collaborative environment that BreakThrough promotes. When not at BreakThrough sorting through all the numbers, she loves cooking and baking, photography, the beach and spending time with friends or a mellow night at home with her fiance (Dave) and cat (Marley).

Karin took on the varied and daily challenges of running a medical office after a diverse professional history in business, office administration, real estate and an education in nursing. Over the last 20 years, Karin’s focus has been on raising her family and working in medical office administration and billing. Working with patients and staff, she tries to come up with positive solutions in terms of serving the patients’ needs and solving problems created by the ever-increasing bureaucracy of the medical and insurance industries. Outside of the office, Karin spends time with her two children, dog and friends. She has a passion for traveling and has been fortunate enough to explore a variety of locales around the world.

As one of the original team members, Sofia is the senior director of accounts and administration and is responsible for much of the behind-the-scenes efforts that allow the rest of the organization to run smoothly. She helps with troubleshooting client accounts, developing improved procedures through the organization, providing accounting support, and managing all contracting issues. Since the late ’60s, Sofia has explored California on foot, bike or horseback. Her travels took her to other countries as a musician and conquering her fear of heights by climbing Popocatépetl, an active volcano and the second highest peak in Mexico. On most days, Sofia can often be found with a book in hand, scooting around on her electric skateboard or spending hours with her husband, three dogs and cat.

Note that not all of our aides are pictured here.  These capable and mature individuals work together as a team every day to ensure that our patients and clients are cared for and progressed efficiently during each session. They actively engage with each patient/client and learn from our amazing physical therapists so they are in the best position to advise you every step of the way. Our aides typically have a bachelors degree and are in the process of applying to physical therapy schools. This means they have a solid foundation of anatomy, physiology and vested interest in learning to think like a physical therapist while understanding their limitations and knowing when to ask for further guidance from your PT.

Lee has been practicing outpatient orthopedic physical therapy since 1998. With a bachelor's degree in exercise and movement science and a minor in biology from the University of Oregon, he furthered his expertise by obtaining a physical therapy degree from Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven in the Netherlands. Lee is dedicated to patient care, utilizing a comprehensive approach that includes education, manual therapy, and functional training. Mithra is a Bay Area native who received his B.S. in Kinesiology at University of San Francisco. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences at San Marcos, California. His main objective as a therapist is to provide the best quality of care to all patients, treat the patient as a whole, and help patients achieve their goals through manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.

Mithra is energetic about working in the clinical outpatient setting and has experience with treating patients with orthopedic injuries from various age groups and helping them improve their overall quality of life.

In his spare time, Mithra enjoys playing basketball, spending time with friends and family, watching sports, and working out.

ENRIQUE FALK, PT, DPT

Enrique is a native of the Bay Area who received his B.S. in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. He proceeded to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences at Saint Augustine, Florida. His main objective as a therapist is to provide patient centered care, focusing on providing patients with all the knowledge and tools needed in order to allow them to reach their goals and achieve their fullest potential.

Enrique enjoys working in the outpatient setting and has experience with treating patients suffering from a wide range of orthopedic and sport-related injuries.

In his spare time Enrique enjoys cooking, running, hiking, and playing golf.

STEPHEN LEE, PT, DPT

Stephen is a Bay Area native who received his B.S. in Exercise Biology at the University of California Davis. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Mount Saint Mary’s University. Stephen’s objective as a physical therapist is to provide the best patient-centered care, using skilled manual therapy in conjunction with therapeutic exercises to assist patients in reaching their maximum performance.

Stephen’s sports experience in baseball, tennis and badminton gives him better insight into the root cause of sport related orthopedic conditions and assist him in follow-through with effective movement strategies and exercises to address pain and to improve performance.

Stephen also enjoys reading up on some of the latest research coming out of of the physical therapy world.

In Stephen’s free time, you can catch him playing tennis, playing badminton, or cycling.

ELIZABETH SEGOVIA, PT, DPT

Elizabeth completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State University of Monterey Bay with a concentration in exercise science. She continued to pursue her career in promoting wellness through activity by earning her ACSM personal training certificate and later completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of the Pacific.

Throughout her observational and clinical experiences, Elizabeth has become passionate in working in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting with various age groups and musculoskeletal conditions. She has even been able to learn more about pelvic health with guidance from Herman and Wallace which has allowed her to treat conditions such as bladder incontinence, prolapse and dyspareunia. By using a combination of manual techniques, therapeutic exercise and patient education, Elizabeth assists her patients return to activities they love most. She believes in empowering individuals with independence through rehabilitation to live an active and fruitful lifestyle and believes in continuing to learn and develop new techniques to benefit her patients.

On her days off, Elizabeth enjoys spending time exploring the world with activities that get the body going such as hiking, running and swimming. She also enjoys creating art and spending time with family.

EMMANUEL CASIS, PTA

Emmanuel is a Filipino and American citizen who grew up in the Philippines and was petitioned by his uncle who is a doctor in Chicago Illinois. He came to the United States in June of 1999, after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy at San Juan De Dios Educational Foundation, Inc.

Emmanuel has been helping people feel better and become more independent as a licensed PT Assistant since 2002. He has a passion for providing the best treatment and care for his patients and loves building “clients for life” here at BreakThrough, including those he helps worldwide through BreakThrough’s VHC platform. Emmanuel takes a comprehensive approach to every patient/client as a result of his belief that combining strength, flexibility, stability, agility and knowledge ensures optimal function and enjoyment in life. He believes that consistency in treatment is one key for a faster recovery.

Besides helping people return to maximal enjoyment in all of life’s activities, Emmanuel enjoys traveling and loves spending time with his family. (Rosabelle his wife, Raffael his son and Naruto his dog). He also likes hiking on the red rocks and snorkeling underwater coral reefs.

NATHAN “NATE” MORLA, PT, DPT

Nathan, a first-generation Filipino American, graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. His passion for biology and desire to help others led him to pursue a career in healthcare, specifically in physical therapy. He later earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Boston University, where his education emphasized movement analysis, evidence-based practice, and understanding the biopsychosocial factors impacting individual experiences.

Throughout his clinical training, Nathan gained experience in various settings, including hospital-based outpatient, inpatient, and occupational medicine practices, primarily focusing on outpatient orthopedic environments. Here, he developed proficiency in patient education, manual therapy, and exercise prescription. He has worked with a diverse range of populations, addressing everything from sports and orthopedic injuries to various musculoskeletal conditions. Nathan is committed to improving patient outcomes through individualized treatment plans and evidence-based practices.

Outside his professional life, Nathan enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and his cat, as well as exploring new cities and immersing himself in the local food and drink culture. To stay active, he likes to work out and hike along the California coast. For relaxation, he watches anime, sports highlights, and enjoys binge-watching “Shark Tank”.

LOPA CHITALIA, PT, MS, AIB-VR, LSVT BIG ™

Lopa, inspired by her parents and her own childhood dream of working in medicine, chose physical therapy for its positive and interactive environment in helping others. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy in India and then her Master’s in Neuromuscular Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh, specializing in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Parkinson’s Disease treatment.

In her professional role, Lopa focuses on treating various conditions including chronic pain, joint replacements, and neurological disorders, with a special interest in vertigo and balance issues. She values active listening to strengthen the therapist-patient bond. Outside work, she enjoys family time, working out, and exploring different cultures and cuisines.

LAVANYA KAILAS, PT, MS

Lavanya Kailas received her Bachelor in Physiotherapy from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India and a Masters in Kinesiology, specializing in Exercise and Sports Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Before joining BreakThrough, she was a physical therapist at Apex PT and Postural Restoration Center in North Carolina, where she gained experience in treating patients using Postural Restoration treatment techniques. This treatment technique has helped her to approach musculoskeletal conditions with a neuro-biomechanics perspective and provide better outcomes for the patient. Lavanya enjoys working in an outpatient setting, treating patients/clients with an array of orthopedic conditions and injuries. She is experienced in treating patients with chronic pain conditions, postural issues, repetitive stress injuries, low back pain, neck pain, knee pain, and post-injury rehabilitation to name a few. She is passionate about working with dancers and runners due to her background as a performing artiste and relevant professional experience.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pursuing Indian classical arts (Carnatic vocal and Bharatanatyam dance form).

RUCHIRA KAMAT, PT, MHS, CMPT, FMS-C

Ruchira’s interest in physical therapy was sparked by witnessing the rehabilitation of a neighborhood child with Cerebral Palsy. This experience led her to pursue and complete a Bachelor in Physiotherapy from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India. After initially working as an outpatient provider and interning with a manual therapist from Australia, Ruchira moved to the United States to earn her Masters in Health Sciences with an emphasis on Orthopedics from the University of Indianapolis. She gained significant experience at a skilled nursing facility in Michigan, aiding individuals with balance disorders. Before joining BreakThrough, she practiced in an outpatient orthopedic setting in Greenfield, Indiana, which further enhanced her skills in manual therapy and understanding of movement impairment patterns.

Ruchira has consistently updated her skills with continued education in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Movement System Impairment, Cervico-thoracic dysfunction, Muscle Energy Techniques for rib dysfunction, and Maitland techniques for joint mobilization. Her approach focuses on compassionate care, aiming to exceed patient expectations and tailor treatments to individual needs. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi. Outside of work, Ruchira enjoys biking, hiking, painting, cake decorating, and writing blogs and short stories.

MING LUO, PT, DPT

Ming completed his undergraduate degree in Jilin University in China, laying the foundation for his Rehabilitation-related expertise which included Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech. To further advance his knowledge, he went to Washington University in St. Louis, Program in Physical Therapy. During the three years of training, he gained additional exposure to patients of different diagnoses, complexity and movement statuses. He was also the recipient of Robert J. and Betty L. Hickok Scholarship for his outstanding performance in professionalism during his clinical experiences. His goal is to address both physical and psychosocial factors in patients to help them get back on track of pursuit.
During his free time, he enjoys going to the gym/swimming and traveling with friends. He’s also a big fan of anime so definitely talk to him if you are interested as well.

CERITA GABRIANA, PT, DPT

Cerita is originally from Manila, Philippines and moved to Stockton, California at 8-years old. She is a licensed physical therapist who received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Samuel Merritt University after completing her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Exercise Science from California State University, Fresno.

With a diverse clinical background, Cerita has experience in treating various musculoskeletal conditions from different age groups, pediatrics with neurological disorders, post-stroke, and patients with cardiovascular disease. Her main goal as a therapist is to use an evidence-based care approach and provide patient centered care by optimizing their movement in order to achieve their goals and empower them to live healthy lives. She is bilingual and is able to speak fluently in Tagalog. In her free time, Cerita enjoys working out, playing tennis, watching movies, exploring restaurants in the Bay Area, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Ashley enjoys a number of hobbies, including reading, watching movies, and a wide range of arts and crafts. Her outdoor interests include photography, hiking, archery, tennis, golf and swimming. She can’t wait to connect with you and assist you with all your needs! 

NATHALIE RIVERA

Nathalie is a Bay Area native who joined BreakThrough with a diverse background in public health, upscale service, and sales. She earned her degree in Nutrition from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and loves applying all of her knowledge and skills to create the best possible patient experience. Nathalie loves working with people and creating lasting, meaningful relationships with everyone who comes into the office. Her passion for the well-being of others and supporting her community shines every day. Nathalie strives to create a safe space for all patients and she can’t wait to meet you!

In her free time, Nathalie loves to get outdoors! She enjoys hiking, running, exploring state parks, and hanging out at the beach. At home, you’ll find Nathalie cooking, baking, or playing the piano.
Outside her professional life, Dana enjoys diverse activities like hiking, tennis, paddle-boarding, playing the piano, cooking, watching movies, and playing board games. She loves animals and has raised several pets. In her role, she focuses on personal and professional growth for her team, ensuring exceptional patient care and fostering a collaborative approach.

SUVIE SOUZA

With a passion for people, Suvie has been working in the field of human resources for nearly a decade. Her professional credits include executive level management, strategic program management, training/employee development, resource and budget forecasting, organizational development, and employee relations. Her operational background is complemented with extensive knowledge in medical assisting, anatomy, and medical terminology. With this unique skill set, Suvie brings her compassion and empathy to the BreakThrough Team and every patient/client that walks through the door as well as those around the world who benefit from our virtual services.

Coming from a family of immigrants, Suvie values culture, history, and art. She enjoys attending local art galleries, and farmer’s markets and spending time with her family and her English Bulldog.

DEBI BREIMAYER

Debi earned her degree in Sociology and Social Welfare from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Before attending college she grew up in Minneapolis and moved to the Bay Area in 1998, and most likely will never leave. Her experience working in student services, retail management, and customer service has led her to BreakThrough with the following mission: to help clients feel welcome, served and satisfied with their experience along their journey to health and wellness. Debi enjoys connecting people from all backgrounds and looks forward to meeting you!

Debi’s hobbies include attending sports events, music, gardening, fitness, dancing, and everything Green Bay Packers. She recently sent her oldest child to college but still shares her home with her teenage daughter, two cats Olive and Ethel, and her three chickens. She loves to throw parties to connect with family and friends, old and new, and make sure everyone gets their dancing on.

KELLY SKELTON

Kelly has worked in a multitude of professions in the Customer Service field and has always had a passion for Sports, Fitness, and Health. She considers herself a people person willing to go above and beyond for clients and patients to feel heard, understood, and welcome at BreakThrough in order for them to achieve their goals.

Kelly was born and raised In San Jose, CA and has played competitive soccer throughout her life. She attended Chico State studying Kinesiology and played for their Collegiate Team. Needless to say, Injuries are no stranger to her. Having gone through the process of rehabilitation and recovery, (quite a few times), she believes her own experiences enable her to be able to communicate transparently and provide people the care they deserve through connectivity.

During her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family and close friends. She loves traveling around the world, cooking recipes from diverse backgrounds, taking naps, and attempting crafting projects.

MARIA PEREZ

Maria joined the BreakThrough Team with a diverse background of working in retail, property management, and other healthcare settings. As a morning person, she is excited to start every morning by greeting our early bird patients and clients. She enjoys working with BreakThrough and helping patients with transparency, schedule coordination, and making sure all patients and clients feel at home in our office! She has great pride in getting to know every patient that walks through the door and strives to make sure they have a great experience!

LEE H. KOLE, PT

Lee has been practicing outpatient orthopedic physical therapy since 1998. With a bachelor’s degree in exercise and movement science and a minor in biology from the University of Oregon, he furthered his expertise by obtaining a physical therapy degree from Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven in the Netherlands. Lee is dedicated to patient care, utilizing a comprehensive approach that includes education, manual therapy, and functional training. He is experienced in treating a range of orthopedic conditions, from sports injuries to chronic pain, and stays current with medical advancements through collaboration with local surgeons.

In 2007, Lee’s contributions to the field were recognized when he presented at the American Physical Therapy Association Conference in Denver. As President and CEO, he focuses on developing programs and careers at BreakThrough, aiming to improve patient experiences and set new standards in physical therapy. Outside work, Lee enjoys family time, gym workouts, and various sports activities. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Dutch.

DEBBIE GLENDENMEYER

Debbie joined the BreakThrough Accounts and Administration Department after years of extensive experience in medical billing, account reconciliation, collections and much more. While insurance companies continually find ways to try and confuse both provider and patient, Debbie is passionate about ensuring everything balances out. She then enjoys working with our amazing patients and clients with open, clear, and concise communication for efficient account resolution. Debbie enjoys the collaborative environment that BreakThrough promotes.
When not at BreakThrough sorting through all the numbers, she loves cooking and baking, photography, the beach and spending time with friends or a mellow night at home with her fiance (Dave) and cat (Marley).

KARIN HUBER

Karin took on the varied and daily challenges of running a medical office after a diverse professional history in business, office administration, real estate and an education in nursing. Over the last 20 years, Karin’s focus has been on raising her family and working in medical office administration and billing. Working with patients and staff, she tries to come up with positive solutions in terms of serving the patients’ needs and solving problems created by the ever-increasing bureaucracy of the medical and insurance industries.

Outside of the office, Karin spends time with her two children, dog and friends. She has a passion for traveling and has been fortunate enough to explore a variety of locales around the world.

SOFIA I. RUSSELL

Sofia’s adventurous spirit gives her a great deal of empathy for achy patients who visit BreakThrough Physical Therapy. As one of the original team members, Sofia is the senior director of accounts and administration and is responsible for much of the behind-the-scenes efforts that allow the rest of the organization to run smoothly. She helps with troubleshooting client accounts, developing improved procedures through the organization, providing accounting support, and managing all contracting issues.

Since the late ’60s, Sofia has explored California on foot, bike or horseback. Her travels took her to other countries as a musician and conquering her fear of heights by climbing Popocatépetl, an active volcano and the second highest peak in Mexico.

On most days, Sofia can often be found with a book in hand, scooting around on her electric skateboard or spending hours with her husband, three dogs and cat.

ARVIE MIRANDA

Arvie graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Kinesiology. His main objective was to connect with people and lend a hand in any way possible, which directed him towards physical therapy. Living an active lifestyle, Arvie believes physical therapy should be known for not only the rehabilitation side, but its preventative practices as well. Arvie enjoys educating others about all the amazing ways BreakThrough helps people achieve their goals.

Arvie started as a Physical Therapy Aide at BreakThrough in 2017. In 2018, he was promoted to Aide Team Coordinator for his exceptional service, positive attitude and efficiency. He has been an exceptional leader and continues to challenge himself and those around him to create the best possible experience. In 2021, he was promoted as our first ever, Director of Operations. Arvie is exceptional at keeping a positive approach and ensures all our things are in working order and that everyone has what they need in order to provide exceptional service for all who rely on BreakThrough.

He also goes by the motto, “gratitude is the attitude”.
