Coccygodynia is defined as pain in the coccyx area. In men, the coccyx can be painful as a result of dislocation during a trauma such as a fall. Pain in this region usually causes difficulty sitting and therefore changes how one sits. If left untreated, coccygodynia could progress to low back pain and or other pelvic floor dysfunctions due to changes in posture and muscle guarding. We realize coccygodynia can prevent you from working, sitting and other activities you enjoy and are committed to helping you overcome it.

My daughter developed a stress fracture due to over-training and lack of proper guidance. She had to sit out her sophomore season and we were afraid her running career would be over. Her self-confidence was way down and we had serious concerns, but thanks to BreakThrough she is “back on track” and continuously improving her times as well as enjoyment for cross country. Thank you!
