Impotence or erectile dysfunction (ED) is related to a man’s inability to attain or maintain an erection. There are several different causes of ED and treatment options may include a multidisciplinary approach. Emerging literature supports physical therapist’s ability to improve a man’s erection and also improve sexual performance through therapy measures which address the pelvic floor. These include, but are not limited to manual therapies, electrical stimulation, biofeedback and pelvic floor exercises.

My daughter developed a stress fracture due to over-training and lack of proper guidance. She had to sit out her sophomore season and we were afraid her running career would be over. Her self-confidence was way down and we had serious concerns, but thanks to BreakThrough she is “back on track” and continuously improving her times as well as enjoyment for cross country. Thank you!
